Moisture present in the air reacts with the reagent inside the tube to produce a dense white smoke. Because the smoke matches the density of the surrounding air, it floats freely—accurately revealing airflow direction, speed, and pattern.

How to Use

1. Carefully break off both ends of the smoke tube
2. Attach a rubber aspirator bulb to one end
3. Gently squeeze the bulb to activate the reaction
4. Observe the white smoke to assess airflow direction and behaviour

➡️ A tube tip breaker is required to open the tube ends.
These are sold separately, or you may use the tip breaker from an existing Gastec sampling pump.
