Terms and Conditions

1. Lead Times

Lead times are estimates only and may vary depending on material availability, manufacturing capacity, and customer responsiveness to documentation or design approvals.

2. Acceptance

All contracts and business transactions are conducted solely under the following Terms and Conditions, notwithstanding any contrary statements, documents, or representations by the contracting party. No variation or alteration of these conditions shall be effective unless expressly agreed to in writing by Envirosafe Ireland.

3. Prices and Quotations

  • All quotations are subject to confirmation upon receipt of

  • Prices quoted are based on manufacturers’ prices, exchange rates, freight, and insurance costs at the date of quotation. Should these factors change prior to dispatch, Envirosafe Ireland reserves the right to adjust prices accordingly.
  • Unless otherwise stated, prices quoted are valid for 60 days from the quotation date

4. Amendment or Cancellation of Orders

  • Requests for order cancellation or amendment will receive due consideration but are subject to approval by Envirosafe Ireland.
  • Orders for goods of custom design or manufacture cannot be cancelled once order has been confirmed, and/or drawing has been approved, and/or production has commenced.
  • A handling or restocking charge may apply to cancelled or returned
  • Goods returned for credit must be agreed in advance and returned in original packaging and condition.

5. Delivery and Carriage

  • Delivery dates are estimates Envirosafe Ireland accepts no liability for delays or non-delivery beyond our control.

6. Damage or Loss in Transit

  • Partial loss or damage must be reported in writing within 3 days of

7. Shortage or Errors

  • Claims for shortages or errors must be made in writing within 3 days of receipt of the consignment. Claims outside this period will not be entertained.

8. Terms of Payment

  • All invoices are payable 30 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in
  • Payment must be made in full—no deductions may be made without an authorised credit note.
  • Envirosafe Ireland reserves the right to request payment with order or prior to delivery, and to require trade or bank references before extending credit.
  • If installation or commissioning is delayed by the client or end user for more than two weeks beyond the ship date, Envirosafe Ireland reserves the right to invoice for the supplied equipment.

9. Responsibility and Liability

  • Envirosafe Ireland’s responsibility is limited to the supply of goods and services as ordered.
  • Insofar as permitted by law, Envirosafe Ireland excludes all liability for consequential loss or damage arising from the use or supply of
  • Customers are responsible for testing and verifying goods, particularly where use may pose safety risks, in compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation.

10. Repairs and Calibration

  • Items sent for repair, service, or calibration are accepted only on the understanding that Envirosafe Ireland shall not be held liable for any damage, insofar as permitted by law.
  • Preliminary inspection time may be chargeable if no subsequent repair order is

  • Official purchase orders are required for all service, repair, or calibration

11. Guarantee and After-Sales Service

  • Unless otherwise specified, all goods are guaranteed for one (1) year, from the delivery date.
  • During this period, parts required for repair will be supplied free of charge for defects in materials or workmanship.
  • The guarantee excludes damage caused by misuse, unauthorised repair, or consumable parts (e.g., batteries, lamps, connectors, cables, glass components).
  • Envirosafe Ireland is not responsible for any repairs undertaken by unauthorised

12. Out-of-Warranty Repairs

  • Repairs outside the warranty period will be charged at current rates (details available upon request).
  • Work carried out outside normal business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00), will incur additional charges.

13.  Specifications

  • Product specifications, descriptions, and illustrations are accurate at the time of
  • Envirosafe Ireland reserves the right to supply goods to the latest design and specifications without prior notice, provided the product is of comparable quality and performance.

14.  Insurance

  • Where insurance is arranged by Envirosafe Ireland (at our discretion or customer request), a charge will be included on the invoice.
  • Liability under such insurance is limited to the lesser of:
    • The amount received under the insurance policy, or
    • The value of the goods (less any expenses).
  • Envirosafe Ireland is under no obligation to initiate recovery proceedings for loss or damage.

15. Fluctuating Exchange Rates

  • For goods imported from outside EU, Envirosafe Ireland reserves the right to apply a surcharge proportional to any significant change in exchange rates between quotation and invoicing.

16. Passage of Property

  • Ownership of goods remains with Envirosafe Ireland until payment has been received in full.

17. Force Majeure

  • Envirosafe Ireland shall not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strike, fire, civil unrest, or shortage of materials.

18.  Arbitration

  • Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be referred to a single arbitrator in accordance with the Arbitration Acts currently in force in Ireland.

19. Full Terms

  • These Terms and Conditions constitute the full agreement between Envirosafe Ireland and the purchaser. Any additional or differing terms proposed by the purchaser are excluded unless expressly agreed in writing.

Terms Specific to Containment Projects

20. Documentation, Installation, and Commissioning

Documentation (If applicable):

  • Installation Qualification/Operational Qualification (IQ/OQ)
  • User Manual
  • General Arrangement (GA) Drawing (for custom built units)
  • Additional or bespoke documentation may incur extra costs Installation and Commissioning:
  • Installation and commissioning, if included, assumes unrestricted access to the site and assistance from the client, with moving/lifting equipment.
  • Quoted prices are based on one engineer attending for one
  • Additional time, personnel, or hire of lifting/moving equipment will be chargeable if on-site assistance is unavailable.
  • If installation or commissioning is delayed by the client or end user for more than two weeks beyond the ship date, Envirosafe Ireland reserves the right to invoice for the supplied equipment.

Terms Specific to Gas Detection Projects

21.  Prices and Quotations:

Prices include for 1 full delivery to site (in ROI).

Envirosafe Ireland shall have no responsibility with regards to Design, Assigned Certifier, PSDP or PSCS.

22.  Commissioning

The above commissioning price is based on providing a single Engineer onsite. It will be the responsibility of the Contractor to provide assistance to our Engineer and safe access to the equipment during commissioning.

23.  Verbal Agreements

The total price shown is for quoted equipment and commissioning only.

Any extra equipment required should be quoted separately and commissioning of extra equipment will incur an additional cost.

Any verbal agreements regarding extra equipment, discounts, etc. must be confirmed in writing.

24. Scope Of Work Exclusions:

Our scope of work excludes:

  • Any electrical or mechanical Installation
  • Glanding Cables
  • Termination of wiring
  • Making Field Connections to field devices
  • Rectifying cable faults including open /Short circuits ,earth faults & polarity

25. Documentation

  • Standard Manuals & Datasheets will be sent electronically
  • Bound copies can be made available at an additional cost
